Landsat Missions

Landsat Science Team

The Landsat Science Team was established in 2006 to work toward the objectives of the Landsat Data Continuity Mission (LDCM) and to contribute to the integration of LDCM data with past, present and future Landsat and other remotely sensed data. The team is funded by the USGS and led by the USGS and NASA. (October 2006 USGS Official Press Release)

The team provides science support on issues critical to the success of the mission including data acquisition, product access and format, and science opportunities.

New Team to be selected
